Skiathos
The liveliest of the Sporades, and a possible stop on our week-long trip.
What to know
Skiathos is the westernmost of the Northern Sporades and the closest to the mainland. It has its own airport, a busy harbour town with a lively night scene, and a coastline lined with beaches.
The best known is Koukounaries, a long curve of sand backed by pine forest and a small lagoon.
On our trip
The week-long trip follows a flexible route. Its standard plan favours Skopelos and Alonnisos, and the wind, the weather and your wishes can change it along the way.
Skiathos is not a fixed stop, but it can be added by arrangement, for an evening in the harbour town or a swim at Koukounaries. Tell us when you book, or ask us through the contact form.
